We would like to thank the Boston Carnival Committee for creating this award. This trophy is for the Haitian community to first win Band of the Year, and now receive this grand trophy, is something deeply meaningful. This award represents the dedication, creativity, and dominance that SmoovNetwork Cares has shown since we began in early 2012. We are grateful and honored to be the first ever recipients of the Float of the Year trophy. A special thank to the artists who helped us clinch these yearly victories such as Kreyol La, Haitian Buju, Chiwawa, and Tony Mix just to name a few. Thank you for bringing the energy and the vibes that helped make these moments possible. Thank you to everyone who has supported our journey and believed in our vision.
Band of the Year 2022
In 2022, SmoovNetwork Cares celebrated the victory of securing the “Band of the Year” title! After the challenges of COVID, this was the first year we were finally able to step back out into our communities, join the road, and back to enjoying what we love most. The energy, excitement, and support made this season one to remember. We also had the privilege of hosting the legendary T-Vice, a Haitian band with more than 30 years of success in the music industry. Together, we were able to bring a little piece of Haiti to the masses and give everyone the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors and celebrate music again.
